Inspired by the Buddhist tradition of buying bricks or tiles to help build temple grounds, these hand-sized dyed wood blocks carry the spirit of care, gratitude, and community.
Originally given as gifts to my MFA peers, professors, and staff at the University of North Texas, I’m now sharing them more widely. Each block is unique, a reminder that small contributions add up to something larger.
